Rebreather Diving

Are you ready to take your adventurous spirit to a whole new level? Rebreather diving is taking the dive world by storm and Aquatic Sports is here to make sure you are at the forefront of the new wave. Why do you want to be diving a rebreather?

Longer Bottom Time

A typical dive on scuba is about 30 to 60 minutes. A typical dive on a rebreather is 90 to 120 minutes. Rebreathers reduce the nitrogen out of the air you breathe, significantly reducing your nitrogen load which leads to decompression diving, longer surface intervals, and at worst, decompression sickness.

Silent Diving

While on a rebreather the air you exhale is not released into the water. This means you aren’t venting big clouds of noisy bubbles.  The silence, and lack of bubbles allows you to get up and close with shy marine life that would normally hide or swim away. Most professional dive photographers use rebreathers.

Less Weight

A rebreather replaces the standard scuba cylinder and BCD, it is therefore significantly lighter than the traditional scuba diving system.
