Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty Class

To enroll in this or any other specialty class, you MUST come by the shop in advance to pay fees and to pick up the educational materials.

ENRICHED AIR NITROX

In this class you will learn the basics of diving oxygen enriched air. This is not a technical class. This class will enhance the safety of your sport and increase your enjoyment of scuba. Enriched Air Diving is for all divers.

Knowledge. Using the SSI educational system you will learn the basics of Enriched Air Diving. Why we dive with EAN, basic physics of EAN, dive planning and gas handling

Skills. This is a non-diving SSI specialty. However, Aquatic Sports does recommend an open water weekend to become familiar with EAN diving.

Equipment. You will learn how to use an expanded range of equipment to help you make your dives more enjoyable and worthwhile while using EAN.
